   I may perhaps refrain from being evil and using any of the usual disco-era tunes I use when someone speaks of ear-worms.
   
   Or Muppet-related.
   
   Yah, you know it. Ha!
   
   Anyway, I find that actually listening to the song in question all the way through often helps kill the worm.

   I'm working on a Beatles marathon today. As far as getting rid of ear worms, I find very good to exceptional hard rock (Eric Johnson, Metallica, Pearl Jam) or jazz (Stanton Moore), preferably instrumentals, are effective deworming agents. If you got top notch headphones, playing Pink Floyd none stop, cover to cover is also very effective.
   
   Wow. Art of Noise. Somehow I acquired a copy of their greatest hits. Quite sure this song was not the reason.
