This has been a very, very, very, very good weekend.
The matinee show of Rocky Horror Show was funny and wild and a helluva lot of fun.
Dinner at Perigee was sublime. We opted for the 4 course blind tasting menu...words fail.
All day Hunny Bunny had been taunting me with little gifts bearing the notation "This is a cool gift, but is it THE cool gift?". When we got home after the restaurant, he made me wait in the car "just one second, I have to go up first and set up the big present".
Let me state for the record, that I was pretty damn happy with everything over the course of the day. He had gone overboard with the little gifts (we're not big present givers...one small thing and a good dinner is par for the course on these occasions), and I was feeling pretty spoiled.
As I was sitting in the car wondering how much longer I was going to have to wait (the rental on the liquids I had drank needed to be paid soon) I could hear this noise, sounded like japanese car with a riced-up exhaust. Then Hunny Bunny rode up on one of these:
I am the very proud (and still very shell-shocked) new owner of a 1997 Yamaha Virago 1100. In black (of course). With Givi hard luggage (so no more fiddling about with canvas saddlebags and raincovers!).
Holy. Shit. I'm stunned. Stunned, I tell you!

Today was a lazy day... I went for brunch with my pal Su and then headed for a massage. About ten minutes in I remembered the BritBloggerment 2 that I'd signed up for. But after really good massage I'm not inclined to run around; I got home and logged in just mere moments after getting blinded out. D'oh!
Actually, I probably did better than if I'd actually played *grin.

SWEEEEEEET! I'm sure you're gonna love that smooth ride. It's amazing the how much different it can feel over a 750 with chain drive.
And Kudo's to HB for getting you such a great gift. Well played sir.
TY all *grin.
Brian, FYI the 750 Virago is a shaft drive too...chains suck HUGE
